A 42 year-old Cedartown woman, Wendy Lynn Hamrick, was arrested this week on drug charges after she was reportedly found passed out asleep behind the wheel of a truck at a traffic light.
Reports said that officers were called to the scene after Hamrick sat through at least 7 red light cycles.
When officers arrived they said that they saw Hamrick slumped over behind the wheel with the vehicle still in drive. Police said that they awoke Hamrick and in the process noticed a purse between her legs.
After asking for consent to search the bag, officers said that they found suspected meth, suspected cocaine and marijuana inside.
Hamrick is charged with possession of meth, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and improper stopping.
