Miranda Nicole Nixon, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she beat a 65 year-old man in the face.
Nixon also told police that she shoved the victim into the wall during the dispute.
The victim suffered visible injuries to his face and arm.
The incident occurred at an apartment on Park Road.
Nixon is charged with battery.
