Daniel James Dover, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to toss drugs out of his car window while getting stopped by police on the Armuchee connector.
Reports said that officers observed Dover tossing marijuana and a glass smoking device on the side of the road before pulling over for police.
Dover is charged with tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
