Dionicio Marino Chavez Vail, 29 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to police about his identity while being taken into custody for DUI.
Police said that they stopped Vail at the intersection of SR 1 and 6 Mile for speeding when they found an opened container of alcohol inside his vehicle. He would later allegedly admit to drinking a 6 pack.
Vail would later sign police documents with the fake name.
Vail is charged with false statements and writings, giving false information to police, driving without license, DUI, speeding, open container.
