Broderick Maurice Smith, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in a drunken state while being loud and boisterous in public on Hardy Avenue.
Officers went on to say that Smith proceeded to resist them during his arrest.
Smith is charged with public drunk, obstruction and probation violation.
