Elfido David Ortega-Rivera, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he headbutted a 41 year-old woman during a dispute at his Jordan Drive home.
Reports added that the attack occurred in front of three small children.
Ortego-Rivera is charged with simple battery and three counts cruelty to children.
