Cole Younger Sartin, 30 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he shot another man in the groin area at a Davis Street home.
Reports said that Sartin discharged the gun from his car while on a public roadway toward the victim.
The victim reportedly suffered a temporary loss of usage of the area.
During the investigation, Sartin allegedly admitted to discarding the gun.
Sartin is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, tampering with evidence, discharging a firearm near a public roadway, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
