Ashford Lamont Price, 46 of Summerville, is facing numerous charges in Rome after authorities said they found a bag of marijuana hidden in his crotch area after lying during an investigation.
Officers said that they took Price into custody after he refused to give them his name and date of birth while being questioned at a location near the intersection of W 11th and N 5th Avenue.
After arriving at the jail, Price was found with the marijuana hidden inside a plastic baggie under his crotch.
Price is charged with possession of marijuana, obstruction, giving false information to police, crossing the guard line with drugs and probation violation.
