Timothy Clayton Swann, 42 of Summerville, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a 2018 Jeep Cherokee from a woman at the Kings Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.

The theft occurred back on December 12th of last year.

Authorities went on to say that after stealing the Jeep, Swann ran a yield sign and struck another vehicle.  After causing the wreck, Swann is accused of fleeing the scene.
