Deontre Javarius Smith, 19 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was spotted wearing a mask while going through a neighbor’s belongings on Magnolia Avenue.
Officers said that Smith and a second suspect were spotted wearing all black and the mask before fleeing on a bicycle.
Police added that they were able to capture Smith, and while placing him into custody he was found with a vape in his possession.
Smith is charged with prowling, possession of tobacco underage and wearing a hood to conceal identity.
