A taxi driver, Ernesto Marrouquin Rodriguez, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned a woman in the back of his cab.
Reports said that Rodriguez locked the back door and refused to allow the 47 year-old woman to leave.
Law enforcement said that when they arrived on the scene the victim was found crying for them to let her out.
The incident occurred at a service station on Rockmart Highway.
Rodrigues is charged with false imprisonment.
