A 53 year-old Rome man, Johnny Raymond Steele, who was arrested last week is now facing additional charges for stealing from a furniture store.
Reports said that Steele stole over $1,500 in merchandise from Furniture of Rome on Shorter Avenue.
Steel is charged with felony theft by taking.

Johnny Raymond Steel, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into a truck at the Circle k on Cartersville Highway and stole numerous items.
Reports said that Steel stole fishing poles, Magellan cooler, hunting saddles, waders, jet ski cover, life jackets and a Stihl chainsaw.
Steel is charged with theft by receiving stolen property and entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony.
