According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a local business in Ellisville made a report with investigators that their business had been broken into. During the investigation, investigators developed Christopher Ross Dawson (35 y/o of Piedmont) as a suspect.
Dawson was ultimately arrested for Burglary 3rd Degree, Possession of Burglar’s Tools, and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.Â
