Steven Andrew Jenkins 45 of McDonough, was arrested this week after reports said he engaged in an online conversation of a sexual nature with someone he believed to be under the age of 16 years-old.
Reports said that Jenkins sent the “child” numerous photos of his genitals while asking the child to send him some of their own.
After multiple graphic conversations of a sexual nature he asked the “child” to meet up in person so that they could engage in sexual activity.
After driving to the meeting location, officers took Jenkins into custody. While arresting him, police said that he was found in possession of methamphetamine.
Jenkins is charged with aggravated child molestation, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a crime, obscene internet contact with a child possession of methamphetamine, electronically furnishing obscene materials to children, sexually explicit conduct with a minor and a window tint violation.
