According to reports, an investigation in the Ranger Community of Gordon County has been launched after a 19-month-old child was killed in an accident earlier this week.
Reports said that a Dodge Durango, driven by an unidentified driver on private property, was pulling forward to unhook a utility trailer when it struck the child.
The driver then called 911 for help and the child was transported to a Chattanooga Hospital where he later died.
The incident occurred on Pittman Road.
