Dusty Allen Blackmon, 43 of Summerville, was jailed in Rome this week after reports said he repeatedly broke into a storage unit on Walenda Drive in the Armuchee community.
Police said that Blackmon cut the locks on the unit and then took numerous items back in May of this year.
Police estimated that the value of the items that were taken at $2,666.96.
Blackmon is charged with two counts second degree burglary and felony theft by taking.
