Stephanie Maire Jackson, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she obtained a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe from her father and then scrapped it without permission of the owner.
Reports added that Jackson signed documents that she was the owner of the vehicle when in fact she was not.
Jackson received $329.55 for the SUV.
Jackson is charged with felony theft by conversion and theft by deception.
