Samuel David Baker, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he held a woman down on the bed against her will.
The victim told police that Baker pinned her arms down while refusing to allow her to get up and leave.
Officers added that while taking Baker into custody they found him in possession of marijuana.
Baker is charged with false imprisonment and felony possession/distribution of marijuana.
