Sean Peyton Swader, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threw a rock through the front glass door of the Dollar General on Calhoun Avenue before entering and burglarizing it.
Officers added that once inside Swader stole a large bucket full of merchandise totaling $380.
Swader is charged with smash and grab burglary, theft by taking, 2nd degree criminal damage to property, and prowling.
