Extra Special People, Inc. (esp), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to creating transformative experiences for people with disabilities and their families, changing communities for the better, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Sarah Bradfield as the new Executive Director of esp Rome. Sarah assumed the role on May 20, 2024.
Sarah Bradfield brings over 24 years of experience in special education and non-profit organizations. She is poised to lead esp Rome into a new era of growth and impact, overseeing the strategic implementation of espās programs, operations, and fundraising efforts specific to Rome. Her extensive expertise and passion for esp’s mission make her an invaluable addition to the team.

Bradfield previously served as Executive Director of Advancement at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia. Her impressive career also includes roles such as Development Director with Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Georgia and Director of Adult Literacy, ConnectHome USA Coordinator, and EnVision Center Coordinator with Northwest Georgia Housing Authority.
Sarah has lived in Rome and Northwest Georgia for over 20 years. She has four children: Kelsey, Blake, Jonah, and Scarlett. The family attends We the Church located next to esp Romeās future site, 1818 Kingston Road.
To officially introduce Sarah Bradfield to the community, esp invites stakeholders, supporters, and community members to join us for Friend Friday at Georgia Highlands College on June 21, 2024. Friend Fridays offer a chance to celebrate our participants as they experience the joy of summer camp!
