Destiny Renee Barnes, 34 of Rome, was jailed this week when she was allegedly found with found with drugs while being booked for shoplifting.
Officers said she was taken into custody for stealing nearly $40 worth of merchandise from the West Rome Walmart.
After arriving at the jail, deputies located a bag of suspected meth on her.
Barnes is charged with theft by shoplifting, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, crossing the guard line with drugs.
