Victoria Shianna Champion, 31 of Rome, and Brandon Lee Wayne Garlin, 35 of Cedartown, was arrested during a traffic stop on Ga 20 at the Biddy Cut off.
Reports said that during the stop, officers saw the couple dump methamphetamine out of the car’s window.
A search of the vehicle then resulted in officers finding methamphetamine, a digital scale and drug packaging materials.
Officers said that the initial stop was conducted due to the slow speed that Champion had been driving in the left lane.
Both are charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence and possession of drug related objects.
Champion is additionally charged with impeding the flow of traffic, driving without license and driving on a suspended license.
