Melissa Susan Milam, 57 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she scrapped a stolen truck.
According to police, Milam gained possession of a 2012 Dodge Ram and then proceeded to sell the truck to Mike’s Junking for $300.
Reports added that Milam sold the truck, which was valued between $8,000 and $12,000 for $300.
Authorities added that the truck was crushed after being sold.
Milam is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property and failure to appear.
