A registered sex offender, Benjamin Eugene Jacobs, 46 of Rome, was jailed this week after complying with registration laws.
Reports said that Jacobs did not notify authorities that he moved from his home on Rockmart Road to an unspecified address within 722 hours.
The move occurred back in February.
Jacobs is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
