Dravus Chaise Christian Dupree, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he pulled a knife on and threatened to kill his mother.
Reports added that Dupree then proceeded to walk toward the victim in an aggressive manner while placing both his mother and younger brother in fear of their lives.
The incident occurred at their home on Lyons Drive.
Dupree is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
