Billy Jack Medlin Jr, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved another person during a verbal dispute on Noble Street.
Reports said that the shove was in a “provoking nature”.
Authorities did not indicate the gender or age of the victim.
Medlin is charged with battery.
