Sean Michael Skibber, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found with five credit cards that belonged to others, a social security card that belonged to another and a fake Georgia driver’s license.

While being investigated, Skibber allegedly gave police a fake identity while attempting to avoid arrest due to him also being a fugitive on the run.

He was taken into custody on the Armuchee Connector near Three Mile Road.

Skibber is charged with five counts 2nd degree forgery, two counts identity fraud, giving false information to police, false statement and writings, driving without license in possession, fugitive from justice, two counts unlawful possession of false and fraudulent documents.
