Stanley Craig Brown, 57 of Rome, has been jailed for a wreck that caused serious injury to someone driving a motorcycle.

Reports said that Brown pulled into the path of the motorcycle on Redmond Circle causing it to collide with his vehicle.

Brown is then accused of leaving the scene of the accident without checking on the driver.

Reports went on to say that the motorcyclist suffered injuries to his hand, foot, spine, and sternum.  The injuries caused the victim to have to undergo several surgeries and a prolonged stay in the hospital.

Brown is charged with serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving. failure to yield the right of way, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license.
