Tyler Scott Griffith, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found illegally in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Reports added that Griffith, a convicted felon, was still on probation at the time the weapon was found.
Griffith is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
