Terry Tyrone Pollard Sr, 50 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after reports said he lied to officers during an investigation near the intersection of 19th and Flannery Streets.
Officers said that Pollard gave them a fake name and date of birth during questioning. After discovering his true identity, Pollard allegedly ran away on foot. After a short chase he was taken into custody and subsequently found with three bags of methamphetamine and digital scales
Pollard is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects, giving false information to police, obstruction and possession of marijuana.
