Angela Fay Peak, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she beat a 21 year-old woman in the face and neck with her fist.
Reports added that the victim suffered visible injuries in the attack, which occurred at her home on Wood Creek Way.
Peak is charged with battery.
