Lamar Keith Dublin, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after lying to police during an investigation.
Reports said that Dublin gave officers a fake name as his own while being questioned.
After discovering that Dublin had lied, while taking him into custody, he allegedly pulled away and tried to flee from officers.
Dublin is charged with giving false information to police, obstruction and probation violation.
