Tyler Austin Nichols, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he pulled a gun on a 35 year-old man before pointing it toward his face. Nichols then allegedly beat the victim in the face repeatedly.
The victim reportedly suffered blackened eyes and swelling to his face.
The incident occurred back on April 6th at a location on Highway 411 near Ga 1 Loop.
Nichols is charged with aggravates assault, battery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, reckless conduct and probation violation.
