Carmine Narada Berardi, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he removed his ankle monitoring device without permission of authorities.
Berardi was arrested back in January for breaking into vehicles in the Big Lot shopping Center and stealing items such as computers, videogames and backpacks.
Berardi is charged with removing an electronic monitoring device.
