A motorcyclist suffered serious burns and later died following a wreck on US 411 at Funkhouse Road just north of Rydal on Wednesday morning.
Reports said that a yellow motorcycle was southbound on 411 in the left lane when a north bound blue commercial vehicle turned left onto Funkhouser road. It was at that point the motorcycle struck the rear of the trailer attached to the vehicle.
The motorcyclist was then pulled by the vehicle before coming to a stop.
The GSP specialized collision reconstruction team has been called to assist in the investigation.
The name of the deceased has yet to be disclosed and has been sent to the GBI crime lab for identification.
