Stephen Jarrod Washington, 33 of Calhoun, was arrested this week after reports said he threw a woman across the room of a home on Avenue D.

The victim reportedly suffered physical injuries to her arm from the attack.

The incident occurred in front of a 10 year-old child.

Washington is charged with battery, cruelty to children in the third degree and criminal trespass.
