Dunigan Prince Rogers 46, and Quiniy’Zha Zha’Nae Neal, 19, both of Rome, were jailed on drug and other charges during a traffic stop on Ivy and Elmwood Streets.
Police said that they attempted to discard marijuana by throwing it out of the car while in a neighborhood. During the stop, neither suspect claimed the drugs as their own.
Rogers drove for a distance after officers initiated their blue lights when they saw his damaged windshield and tint.
Rogers is charged with possession of marijuana, attempting to elude police, window tint violation, window violation and probation violation.
Neal is charged with possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence and a seat belt violation.
