Kaitlyn Elise Stiles, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she hit a parked vehicle while leading police on a high-speed chase around Floyd County.
Reports said that Stiles was clocked at driving 82 mph in a 55 zone on GA 1 Loop. Officers added that when they initiated a stop, Stiles fled away while weaving off the roadway and eventually striking a parked car.
After eventually pulling over, police discovered that she had been driving with an expired registration and without her license.
Stiles is charged with speeding, failure to maintain lane, duty upon striking unattended vehicle reckless driving, driving without insurance, operation of an unregistered vehicle, driving without license in possession and fleeing from police
