Montona Keunn Fisher, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she punched a 43 year-old woman in the face.
Reports added that the victim suffered redness and bleeding to the eye.
Authorities went on to say that the victim and suspect are roommates.
Fisher is charged with battery.
