Nathaniel Corey McCollum, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened police officers during a traffic stop near the intersection of North 2nd Avenue and 3rd Street.
Police said that McCollum told the officer that “if he didn’t help find his wife bad things would happen to him.”
Officers added that they discovered that he had been driving under the influence of alcohol.
McCollum is charged with DUI and terroristic threats and acts.
