Christopher Lloyd Rhoten, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he took control of another person’s cellphone and then used it to transfer $75 from the victim’s CashApp to his account.
The incident occurred last December 5th
Rhoten is charged with identity fraud, financial transaction card fraud and criminal receipt of services fraudulently obtained.
