Brandon Blake Butts, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted his “roommate”.
Reports said that Butts began to yell at the victim, a 34 year-old male, before kicking his cellphone out of his hands.
The victim told officers that he felt in fear of his safety during the incident.
Butts is charged with simple assault.
