Devonta Dashon Johnson, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with suspected ecstasy inside an Alive bottle.
Police added that the drug was located inside a car he was driving along Broad Street.
Johnson is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
