Alvin Sylvester Chambers Jr, 57 of Rome, was arrested this week after a traffic stop resulted in police finding drugs.

Officers said that Chambers was pulled over and then proceeded to flee on foot.

After being captured, police added that they found marijuana in his possession.

Chambers is charged with possession of marijuana, obstruction, driving on a suspended registration, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance.
