Ja’Marion Zytres Lamar Sims, 19 of Rockmart, was arrested at a business on Riverbend Drive after reports said he was found illegally in possession of a handgun.
Officers said that after taking Sims to jail he was found with two bags of marijuana.
Sims is charged with two counts possession/distribution of marijuana, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
