Sadia Aidaus Sharif, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she scratched a 38 year-old man on his face, arms and hand during a fight at their home on Woodrow Wilson Way.
Reports added that the couple had lived together for three months and that she told police that she was pregnant with his child.
Sharif is charged with battery.
