Anthony Dwayne Flowers, 43 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he caused physical pain to a St. Bernard and a poodle mix.
Reports said that both animals were found to be extremely emaciated to the point where both struggled to walk or stand.
Both animals were severely malnourished and were suffering from tremors, more than likely caused by an ingestion of insect bait or moldy food.
Both animals also suffered from intestinal parasites.
Flowers is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
