An employee of Tropical Smoothie, Karen Colleen Stewart, 40 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said she stole $39,865.23 from her employer.
Reports stated that between April 1, 2022 and May 12, 2023 Stewart failed to deposit monies into the stores account, instead keeping it for herself.
Stewart is charged with felony theft by taking and probation violation.
