Tyrell Donaldson, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he punched a 24 year-old woman in the face during a dispute on Ashland Park Blvd.
Police said that the victim suffered a cut to her eyebrow from the attack.
The incident occurred in the presence of a 2y year-old child.
Donaldson is charged with simple battery and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
