Harley Wayne Adcock, 27 of White, was arrested this week after reports said he led police on a chase along GA 1 near GA 53.
Police said that speeds of the chase reached over 100 mph while crossing double yellow lines toward oncoming traffic.
Police said that the chase began after Adcock took off following a wreck at the intersection of Huffaker Road and Shorter Avenue.
Adcock is charged with hit and run, obstruction, attempting to elude police, failure to obey traffic control devices, speeding, too fast for conditions, passing in a no passing zone, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and fleeing from police.
